Headlight Bulb Mystery?
Would be grateful for any help. I am looking to upgrade my Main/ Dip light bulbs to something more visible so had a look at the existing bulbs to check what to get. Main beam and dip bulbs are both H1. However the handbook says dip should be H7 (GLB499) and only main H1 (GLB448). I can't see from va...

Re: Hydrolastic
Just contacted DK Diagnostics in Chesterfield - £15 for a pump up and £15 for front wheel alignment. Will be giving them a go! Not worth investing in a pump at that price. Let us know how you get on, I'm going to need mine doing when I get it on the road in a couple of weeks :thumbsu: Won't be unti...

I'm in Calver and would be interested in where you can get the £20 pump up?Andy Clap wrote:Where in Derbyshire are you? I'm in Matlock and was thinking of getting a pump (although I've been recommended a place that tops up for £20 so don't know if it's worth buying a pump and fluid).

I had a pump up last year as the near side was lower than the off. Cost £115+VAT. Now the near side is down 15mm again. There is no obvious sign of a leak, but can anybody tell me what to look for or where, please? Maybe I should just buy a pump and keep topping it up - anybody in North Derbyshire /...

Great Service Items
I usually find servicing particularly unsatisfying because the car seldom seems any different afterwards but I must say that a couple of things (in addition to the LoLarm mentioned in a previous thread), have proved to be real improvements; 1) The EBC Green Stuff pads have made a spectacular differe...

Fitted one of Andy's LoLarms and I am well pleased so far. Seems a quality piece of kit, well thought out and easy to install - about 1 1/2 hrs, quicker if you are a better mechanic than me, I guess. Had a bit of a problem working out how to connect to the fuse box but Andy quickly e-mailed me an ex...

Re: MGF Weather Shield
Many thanks for the prompt replies.
Have ordered one as I may as well fit it whilst the car is up on the stands.

MGF Weather Shield
Can anybody tell me if the MGF was originally fitted with this please?

I can't see any empty mounting holes where one would have been fixed originally.
Thanks.

Re: REMANUFACTURED MGF Fog Lamp Bezels - £40+VAT?
As these are handed it is going to be double the cost to set these up so not really viable after all unfortunately.

REMANUFACTURED MGF Fog Lamp Bezels - £40+VAT?
Having had a nightmare trying to source some I am considering having some MGF fog light bezels manufactured.
Is there any interest out there for some. Probably around £40 per pair + VAT.
