Re: K series rebuild

…...You would need to fiddle with the engine management settings..... Do you mean remapping? This should be done as a final modification after everything else. Re: Various MGF TF "things" and "parts" For Sale - will add to thread

Maybe it's just me, but if you want to make a buck sell it on eBay. If you want to sell it to a fellow enthusiast offer it on here. But seems a bit cheeky to just use this as a forum to drive traffic to your eBay ad when we have a Classifieds forum. I am sorry you feel that way, I have been on this...

Are you sure that it isn't the valve itself that has failed?
I doubt it James - there's no way the fluid could get to the nitrogen egg unless the dividing membrane has failed.
Surely even if the membrane has failed, the fluid shouldn't get past the valve?

Re: Poor headlamp dipped beam

These people specifically mention the MGF on their website, no idea of cost though.

I had the same problem with one headlight (the other had been replaced by a previous owner) and simply took a punt on a replacement headlight on eBay which turned out to be fine.

Re: Electric Window Mystery

MGF window lifts are generally very reliable - is there wear on the lift gear Corky? For John's problem last year, I reckon Gary has nailed the answer - but it would be interesting to hear from John what the solution was! :) Oops, sorry only just seen this post Rob. It was the motor mech that had f...

The final issues is whether I should be buying another car :) You are unlikely to be swapping them, you will need th...

The performance in Sport mode was really impressive. Have gone for the top Exclusive model which has loads of ge...
