I have just stung by this website it looks like DVLA website they charge you an extra 40 pound for taxing your car it looks like govment website :rant:

How come it does it have 185 /55/15 at front and 195 55/15 at the rear I just got a puncture at the rear and i have 195 winter tyers what are my best option for tyers

I got 3 tyres spare from rover 45 which are 185 /55/ 15 can I fit then

You could try and run it without a Thermostat that would take it out of the equation and fit one in the winter .Also there is a modified thermo stat housing . on latter cars .

It be worth checking the voltage at the battery ,you will not always get 14 volts at the bateery only when it needs to be charged. you should get about 12.6 to 13 volts on average. It might be bad conection at cig lighter, and nothing to worry about .

I think you could take engine cover plate off and you could under three 10mm to 11mm bolts each side on the boot hinges off you would 1/4 drive ratchet and 10 to 11mm sockets
