Re: WANTED: Service book

forgive my ignorance but won't trhe maintenance check sheet from the mgtf cd be ok? It might be but I don't know which CD you are referring to! Can you post up a pdf print of that page of the CD? What I would like to do is have a copy of the service book page to use as continuation pages, should ha...

Re: WANTED: Service book

does anyone have a scan of a blank page from the service book that could be used as a print out for additional pages? Just looked at mine and and the last blank page has been stamped and I didn't think of this last year! If anyone has got an old book from a scrapped car they are willing to post, I c...

Might be a chance of getting there now I work a bit closer. Does the pub do food, and when is the June date?

front bumper and trophy spoiler for sale

P1020363.JPG I could do with the space so open to sensible offers.  The trophy front spoiler looks an original OEM item, and with the colour could be from a Freestyle model. The joint around the spoiler has tried to be filled, not very successfully, and it looks like there was an attempt made to cl...

Re: Technical and social day - testing out new diagnostic ki

Rob, date and time permitting, I would be keen to provide a car to try out. Mine is MEMS 2.0, 2001 car -which I thought was the point they started to fit MEMS 3.0 but obviously not for mine:( Not sure if that comes with OBD2 compliant signals, I'm just playing with a bluetooth OBD2 reader on my Mond...

Re: TF Tyres

sounds pretty good from my research, as that must include fitting and balance. I tend to be quite fussy in who fits and balances my tyres - for any of my cars, so dont always go for the cheapest :)

Re: 52mm Throttle body found already fitted

Is there an easy way to identify the 52mm throttle body externally? I have a VVC 2001 F and it has a metal TB, but I suspect that there may have been a move away from the plastic throttle bodies previously fitted, and as mine seems to be a very carefully preserved standard spec car, I may just have ...

Re: TF Tyres

Hi, having looked for threads on tyre choice, this thread seemed the best place to post a question. My F 2000my is on 16" wheels, with the 215/60 all round, but they are perished so need to replace (the problem of low mileage cars!) I will be fitting Toyo T1R, but should I go for the Trophy / TF set...

Re: For Sale MG TF 2000 X-red

Hi is this a vvc or mpi engine? And are you sure its a tf, not a 2000my f? Photos would be useful on the problem areas when the system will let you! Do you have any documentation of the work done? Many thanks, Steve

Re: Wanted - late model MGF VVC

I was wondering about a trophy, I have driven 2 but the ride has been shocking on both, although both had zero tyre to wheel arch gap, so not the best examples! Are they firmer than a tf?

Wanted - late model MGF VVC

I'm looking for a 2000my vvc (in blue, or red - ok being a bit picky I know, but not a fan of dark coloured cars!) in nice condition with good service history, and not the far end of the country from Oxford. I've had enough of dodgy traders pushing very average cars, being a right waste of time, and...
