they are bolted on top, in the centre, 1 coil pack is pushed onto plug two and the second coil pack is pushed onto plug 3, working from the cambelt end of the engine {offside}

MGF 1.8i MY2000 I'm trying to find out which MEMS version i have, the info i can provide might help {fingers crossed}

I have 2 coil packs {not distributor} I have 2 lambda sensors, it has a Motorola ECU part number NNN000060
I hope this is enough info

I have the same thing with short journeys, but after a lil run up motorway it disappears, I used a flush addative at last oil n filter service and I still get it.

As i get to know my MGF, as well as the 52mm throttle body it also has a 2 piece cast alloy inlet manifold fitted,
when i talk talk to people at various shows/meets this seems to be sought after upgrade and i lean a bit more about MG and the MGF

A little update, Yesterday i took Penelope for a ride out to wales via the M6, M54 at 70MPH (cough) and since greasing all 4 grease points, the floaty feel is about 90% cured, it felt a lot more stable and planted to the road. FIX IT. you'll be in the good books for at least one weekend and you won't find a good MGF for the price of a HG repair

Been down to my lil lock up to do a bit of service work on Penelope, replaced all 4 nipples and gave them a good fresh greasing, while she was up in the air I put a pry bar under all ball joints and bushes, all were good exept the anti roll bar bushes and the shock absorber bushes have seen better d...
