Re: topless!
It can get nice and warm in the f with the roof down, my wife won't even give it chance though! She thinks I'm barmy! I don't mind though, if she's not in the car I can drive how I like without that horrible annoying noise then tends to come from the passenger seat when she's in the car!

Re: locking issue
Just tried locking with my other fob, and on two presses the deadlocking is back, but still only normal locking with the first fob. Is this maybe a way of showing that the remote battery is on its way out?

locking issue
hi all, after sorting my brake pipe on my f, its now decided to play up with the locking! (this car certainly likes to keep me busy!!) the deadlocking has stopped working. the car unlocks fine with one press of the button, and locks when pressed once, but if i press it twice to deadlock it, nothing ...

Re: I'm gonna torch it!
My sockets are halfords professional range, so decentish quality, and the brake spanner is a nice forged one, so no issues from that. I managed to get it done though!! I went to see a friend of mine who is a mechanic after digging out his number, and he lent me a set of Irwin sockets, which got the ...

Re: I'm gonna torch it!
http://www.the-t-bar.com/forum/22-cjj-s-guides/92555-replacing-a-rear-nearside-brake-line is a how to but it does involve cutting the old pipe. Thanks, I've been using that how to as a guide, but unfortunately I have cut the pipe and still can't get the socket over the union. 10mm is to small and 1...

Re: I'm gonna torch it!
I know this is probably a pretty silly question, but how far would I be able to drive the car with the one pipe missing? I'm thinking if it is at all drivable, there's a garage about 3 miles from me that I could take it to and see if they can get the union out, thinking that they would probably be m...

Re: I'm gonna torch it!
Thanks all, as usual, this has come at a time when I have no money, so buying a flaring kit and more pipe isn't an option at the min unless I put it off a few weeks. I've bought a premade pipe kit so didn't need a flaring kit. Having looked at the 3 way, the other two unions look even harder to get ...

Re: I'm gonna torch it!
Cheers, I'm using brake spanners. I got the caliper end off with the 10mm but there's no way I can get any 10mm socket or spanner on it! I'd try and hammer it on but there's no room for a hammer! Its so frustrating!!

I'm gonna torch it! - maybe not now!!
Can anyone please advise on how to get the rear offside brake pipe union off the 3 way connector? I've tried everything. I got a 9,10,11 and 12mm brake pipe spanner and none fit. I've cut the pipe off and tried sockets. 10mm is too small and 11 is too big. I've tried mole grips but there's not enoug...

Re: Condensation in headlamps
My zt suffers a bit from condensation in the lights when its cold. I just take the rubber things off the back and they clear.

It needed the front to rear and bot rear lines and I then sourced soem S/S braided hoses for the rear. Very helpful cha...
