Re: MGF Wanted
I have a single owner from new 1996 'P' reg MGF in Amaranth, 66K miles, 6 months MoT with hard top for sale if you are interested. I'm in Andover, NW Hampshire, not sure if that's south-west enough? Really looking for a caring home for it rather than top dollar, also don't want to sell anyone a pup.

Re: Looking for a nice MGF
Tom is off to sunny climes later this week so I am storing the car for him. I'll take some more pictures and put an ad up in the for sale section as soon as I can, but if anyone else is interested please contact me. The car is still in Hampshire, 10 minutes from Andover. Cheers...Geoff.

Re: Central locking and immobiliser
excellent...thanks for the prompt reply . I guess these things are not easily repairable (if at all) so I've ordered a salvaged one. Very odd that the fault goes away after an hour, that's electronics for you

Re: what have you done on your mgf today?
First serious outing of the year, a weekend break in Harrogate. 600 mile round trip in 4 days, car was superb :D. On Sunday went to the Tan Hill Inn at the top of the Dales for a pint, the bumpy road through Arkengarthdale seems to have broken the central locking system (post in the technical sectio...

Central locking and immobiliser
i have an issue with the central locking / immobiliser on my TF. When I try to lock the car using the remote control or the key in the drivers door lock the horn sounds and the car immediately unlocks. Also I notice that the interior lights stay on for a long time, even when driving, but do eventual...

Re: hello
Hi Gary, thanks for the welcome!! A Toledo, can't be many of them left...I have a '73 Stag, sadly neglected and in need of some new metal esp. in the rear wheel arches. I've had the car since '81, bought it as a parting gift from my first wife  I bought the MG as a: it's a cracking little car, ...

Hi Scruffy...welcome!! I'm new here myself, also new to forums (or should that be forae...) in general. Nice looking wheels, very white , quite a rare colour? Cheers, Geoff.
Re: hello
Thanks guys, it's been a quality summer so far. We took the car to Northern Spain as a first outing. Didn't drive all the way there, took the ferry to Santander with a Brittany Ferries special offer and then just toured up and down the coast for a few days. Looking to go down to the Italian lakes ne...
