Enlighten me please new to MGs, Ive got my eye on a 1966 Midget 1098cc ? in old English white with black leather seats wire wheels and chrome bumpers and a hooking great steering wheel ,I think it looks the dogs !

Yeah I don't think that the average motorist has any respect for other peoples vehicles, as already mentioned before I tend to park well out of the way in a corner and the last time it happened to me a I had an old battered white Transit van parked that close to me I couldn't open my drivers door.A ...

Thanks Keith,for that ill probably do the same and once in a while back it out the garage , I leave the hand brake off and have the battery on an optimate trickle charger, as im new to MG ownership I cant wait to get the roof down again.Oh and im already looking into the possibility of buying a Midg...

As a new owner to an F this year ive put Ruby to bed for the winter,shes on sorn now until the spring and I would like some advice as to starting her up etc through the winter. Thankyou.

Found the problem today it was the slave cylinder leaking,quickly ordered one from Euro car parts 20.43 plus vat,bled the clutch and what a transformation gear box and clutch feel superb its like driving a new car,well happy with my little F.

Difficult to engage gears
Just noticed this as I was trying to select reverse gear this evening,all the gears seem to be a bit sticky but do improve as the car gets hotter,the bite point on the clutch seems quite low to the floor as well,there isn't any clutch slip and when the engine is turned off you can engage any gear ea...

Car Tax
Went to the local Post Office this morning and taxed my car,must say I felt a bit naked not getting a tax disc and only a receipt.Anyway got home this evening and checked on the GOV website and it says its MOTd but not taxed,just wondered if the GOV website takes a while to update ?
