I want to keep the 14s so looking at r200 262mm discs. If i went to 280mm ans 15s though id get a bit more than 58mph in 2nd gear hmm

All bled ok, had to drop the caliper off to bleed with them being mounted inverted. Cut some wooden blocks to fit in the calipers but luckily they wind back a bit anyway with them being handbrake ones. Now to road test and the mot is due. Replacement fluid pots fitted, annoying job but liking the newness.

Fuel filler fixed, happy with the result. Had to get it from the usa as I couldn't find the right bolt pattern anywhere else.

Plan A is to make them bolt on anyway. I've been looking at the rover 100 setup but they have separate hubs to the drums.
Allegros have drums with built in hubs and separate bearing races so quite different
