Re: Mgf engine temp gauge
The sensor i have is apparently part number MEK000030. Which appears to be the wrong one. Has anyone the part number for the correct sensor for the gauge. Mgf 1996 1.8 118bhp.

Re: Mgf engine temp gauge
Thanks for that info.
One wire??
There is 2 sensors right near each other. The top one is not the water (i think). The one below that and tucked out the way is the one i think is the correct sensor. Well looks like the nuts on the old and new ones are the same. Looks like a 21mm spanner.

I have already acsess to the cables under the center console but am unsure how to adjust. It looks assif there is just a lock nut and then the cable twist in/out to adjust.

Re: Mgf Gear Selector Cable
Hi Alec, So you think the forward and backwards cable is okay. And the the up and down motion is the problem. The spoon ends have quite a lot of play. Can you just buy new ends then? Or do you have to purchase the whole cable? I looked and saw 4 nuts on the end of the spoon part but wasnt sure if th...

Ive had a look at the selector mechanism at the rear of the car and cant seem to find anything out of the ordinary. The 1st and second gear are on the lower arm which goes forward and backwards. Is there a way to...
