Re: T4 Diagnostics
Mykel, he diagnosed what you had done, he had a previous problem with someone connecting the TPS and the Camshaft sensor connectors the wrong way.

Re: T4 Diagnostics
OK guys here is an update on the problem I was having. I came across a local guy who happens to be an auto electrician and I told him about the problems I was experiencing. He decided to come and take a look; asked when the head gasket was last changed (a few years ago); did the usual test with a sn...

I think you are spot on Rob, I am trying to source a new cat at the moment, mine is the one with the sensor on it, so a little more expensive.

Re: T4 Diagnostics
Could it be the ECU itself, when the car reaches up to temperature there is a funny smell coming from the engine bay.

Re: T4 Diagnostics
I have replaced parts today and problem still exists, the problem starts exactly driving for about 10 miles, like pulling out the choke.
The only thing I have not replaced is the coolant temperature sensor as Michael's gadget said the values were good.

Re: T4 Diagnostics
Michael ,many thanks for stopping by and diagnosing the problem which I had on my F with your diagnostics tool, which turned out to be the TPS sensor and the camshaft sensor. I thought it would have been the coolant temp sensor which I purchased an original MG one which is now surplus. Much apprecia...
