over 2 pints

I am sure most of you know this but I thought I would share for those who didn't know. At this time of year in our old cars and modern cars we are constantly getting in and out with wet shoes and jackets. Some of us have leaky roof's so our cars get a bit damp even when we drive around with the hot ...

water level sensor kit

I dont have a low water level sensor kit on my car so thought I may ask Santa to bring me one for being such a good boy this year. I believe the best one to ask him for is the Browns and Gammons one. Is this correct and how hard are they to fit my self? Limited mechanical skills but eager to learn! :D

Re: Rather Stiff!

I might pump up by another 5mm .l can't really see if lowering knuckles have been used. It has had quite a few modifications including TF front and rear lights bumpers and panels so wouldn't surprise me if it has.

Took a couple of snaps today. http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww51/acmabrch/2015-11-13%2015.19.30.jpg http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww51/acmabrch/2015-11-13%2015.19.48.jpg Don't think it is particularly low. 400 psi was the meter reading and all 4 corners are equal. What do you reckon Guys?

Re: Rather Stiff!

I will try and put some pictures up and you guys can tell me what you think but there is no fouling on any body work. I am not trying to go for a particularly low look just an even space around the wheel. Lowering knuckles as mentioned may have been previously fitted what do I look for?

Re: Rather Stiff!

Raised the car to 367 and held well with no leaks Took it for a blast and was nice and soft. When I got back to the garage it had settled down nice and square and lost about 5mm. Problem is it looks rediculas Far too high! What should the gap be from top of tyre to arch? I can get fist in there. We ...

Re: Rather Stiff!

I have only had the car for 6 weeks so not dropped while I have had it. There is no green fluid any where so if it has leaked it was cleaned of before I purchased it. My friend runs a local garage and he has a pump so seeing him tonight. Watch this space!

Re: Rather Stiff!

Right then. Just looked at a couple of other links so I went and measured the ride height. 29cm all round!! When I bought the car there was a bit of damage to the wing. Owner told me the suspension had failed and car dropped onto and caused damage to wing. Suspension was then rebuilt. Now whether th...

Rather Stiff!

Hi Guys. How stiff/hard should the suspension be? Having never been in a MGF except my own I have nothing to compare it with. I can feel every lump and bump in the road (and believe me in the Black country we have plenty) I am being really shaken about. When I have bought cars in the past if you pus...
