Hi Guys.
Does anyone know what the hight of the MGF suspension should be??
Mine is 28in from the floor to the lip on the centre of the wheel arch, is this correct??
Should it be higher than this??
Regards.

There is a nut and bolt, flat washer, spacer and a cupped washer. I am sure the flat washer goes on the bolt then passes through t...

front subframe update
Hi Guys. Quick update on the front sub frame situation. Managed to get enough clearance to get the rear wishbone bolts out, but how the hell do you get the front ones out?? They are set back inside the subframe with only a hole for access, even then they are set well back from the hole. What tool/me...

Re: front subframe
I am not sure? have removed the two lock nuts and the u clamp.
What else is there to do? is it just a case of giving it a bit of a wiggle and shake till it comes apart?

front subframe
Hi Guys. Just in the middle of replacing both bottom wishbones on my M.G.F. Decided to have a go at dropping the front sub frame as advised due to lack of space. Have got everything undone, I think? But it will not drop very far on the Off side. Have removed all sets of bolts at front and back, remo...

Re: front wishbone
Hi.
To be honest it sounds like an awful lot of trouble to go to just to replace a wishbone.
It only requires replacement due to a bit of corrosion on the top skin.
Could i get away with welding it??

Re: front wishbone
Its the lower one on the front, did'nt know there was an upper one?
Just looks like a shocker going down to a wishbone which holds the bottom ball joint.

front wishbone
Hi Guys.
Anyone know the best way to remove the front wishbone on the M.G.F. ?
It looks as though the control arm is fixed to the chassis rail through the centre.
Thanks.
