I've just had a new hood fitted and rear edges that border the rear screen panel are not seating flat with the rear panel itself (see attached image). Any thoughts? Is it just due to the hood being new and needs to 'bed' in?

Thanks for the feedback all, looks like I'll stick with OEM discs using Mintex performance pads. Will look at the braided hoses too.

I’m going to be replacing the discs and pads all round and want to look at increased performance. Has anyone got any thoughts on this subject? I am considering EBC groved and vented discs with Green Stuff pads.
