MGTF needs new home
Hi all, can anyone suggest where best to advertise my 2011 MGTF? It is silver with only 24,000 miles and looks nice. I have no idea what price I should ask for it? Any thoughts gratefully received. Regards John Milton Keynes

Re: TF Tyres
Dear all,
General agreement that the right pressures are important but how does one know if the gauge you are using is accurate? Are there any recommendations for gauges out there that are known to be spot on?
Thanks
John

Re: 2010 MGTF alarm not always deactivating
Could be but it seems strange if both fobs are affected? Car has only done 18,000 miles so they wont have had much use.

Re: 2010 MGTF alarm not always deactivating
Thanks. I can see from the service history that one of the fobs had its battery replaced in January 2013. The problem ocuurs with both fobs that I have.

2010 MGTF alarm not always deactivating
Hi, have had a problem recently with the alarm. It sets ok on the fob on locking. Sometimes, when going to unlock the car the doors unlock and the alarm sounds. I then have to lock and unlock it again to get it to deactivate. It does this most times but not every time. Also on occasion when I turn t...

Re: TF Tyres
Just a quick update from my previous posts. I've now replaced the GSD2s on the front of my 2011 registered TF with the Falken 914s and the handling is much improved. I now have 2 spare front GSD2s and one rear GSD2 alk with only 15k miles to dispose of.

Thanks guys. There is plenty of tread on my front GSD2s.
Still would be interested to know if anyone else has tried this combination.

And thanks Rob. I will take a look at the fronts. Is there any particular type of grease that should be used?

Re: 2011 TF creaking rear suspension
Thanks Adrian. That's interesting. I've put a thousand miles or so on mine in the last couple of months. No discernible improvement. Is your regional member going to get it investigated? I yhink I've read that there were defective shocks fitted to dome of the LEs by the way. Recall job. John

Re: TF Tyres
Thanks Steffi. It really feels like a front end issue with my car. No problems on totally flat roads and pretty good on cornering but get the wrong kind of roads and the tramlining occurs with steering tightening up etc. I can't help thinking that if someone somewhere could offer a wheel/tyre combin...
