Headlmp condensation
My Mgf has condensation in both headlamps and I wonder if this is common and is there a mod perhaps to sealing the headlamps please?

An update with the gear selection ,I removed and refitted the gear selection knob and everything works as it should now. I think the knob wasnt locked on properly and I have tried the car on the road andd all is good.

Thats a big help Stu, at least I have protection to stop going into reverse gear with the inhibitors.
I think I need to remove the gear lever knob to start with and see if something is missing on the button change.

On my recent purchase Mgf 2000 steptronic, I can change from drive straight into reverse gear without having a stop point.
Is this normal or is there an adjustment/something missing please as other auto cars that I have ownedyou had to push a button in on the gear stick.?

Ive removed and resealed the airbox and refitted the drivers door seal button clip which cured those leaks previously. I find with the hard roof fitted,that I get constant condensation on the rear screen and front screen especially. I do have a small thumb sized gap between the front of the hard roo...

Dehumidifiers?
My Mgf lives mostly on my drive and although I have a hard top fitted in the winter,I get alot of damp/condernsation inside the vehicle.I do try to control the odd drips into the car when it rains and wonder if anybody has tried a dehumidifier or any other gadget to help the overnight damp please?

I will do all of the checks this weekend with broken wires but so far I havent been able to source a Pscan although with my car as a keeper i ought to have one.

Alarm issue
My alarm was going off randomly on my 2000 F,once or twice a day with no reason. I locked the door with my key and the alarm didnt go off in 2 days,however I now find my central locking doesnt work on the key or the button remote.

Would yardley be suitable distance for you as I know a bodyshop that is reasonable and I have used him on several cars in the past.
