One would assume that a fabrication & fitting service would be around £500, which I think would be fairly good value considering the product.

Thanks David, I have an eBay alert for such things and decided I'd rather go for a new TT (if I don't find anything else) considering the final price.

I'm going to refurb them myself - a bit of a project! Two of them barely need touching, one is ok & one needs a lot. It's all cosmetic etc so shouldn't be too difficult - since I've got the MGF I've learnt quickly that it's much cheaper to just learn how to do things yourself (within reason)!! I'll ...
