O2/Lamda sensors
I've tried a search but can't seem to find correct answers. Does my 2001 MEMS 3 MGF have two of these sensors, one pre and one post cat? I want to order one/two but being around £60 each I don't wanna waste money unnecessarily. I've seen these on Rimmers and have checked my VIN number which appears ...

Re: Cat value
There are plenty of websites where you can type in the code stamped on the cat to get its value. My original one off of my 2001 MGF sold for £700 last year.

Oil catch tank
Has anyone ever fitted an oil catch tank to an MGF?
Can it be done? Is it beneficial for the K series?
I know the basic idea of them but couldn't find much with the search function here so was wondering why not.

Re: Selling scrap cat

If you want his contact details and know what I received for it then send me a PM Price does depend on what code is st...

Re: Outdoor cover
I commented above about buying a Hamilton one and I wish i didn't. It destroyed my paintwork. Even though I uncovered it a few times each month to air it has still ruined the laquer on the paint. It also made the inside go mouldy until I started to use some dehumidifiers. Very expensive too so I do...

Re: Wanted - MG F Window Glass Stop
That's very generous of you, hammond. Hope maybe I can return the favour some day. Haven't been able to make my semi-annual trip back to Blighty since 2019 because of Covid but hopefully it could be on the cards for '22. Revisiting the Cotswolds is on the list - along with the Lake District - so at...

Re: Wanted - MG F Window Glass Stop
I may have some aftermarket upgraded ones which I brought but didn't need in the end. Let me search the loft and let you know.
They are supposed to be stronger and better than OEM.

Re: Head gasket
Hi, I did my head gasket, amongst other repairs at the same time, I used an N series gasket, 10.9 bolts and a new stronger Land Rover lower rail as per this kit I have just found on e bay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGF-MG-TF-K-SERIES-UPRATED-N-SERIES-HEAD-GASKET-KIT-INC-LOWER-RAIL/264460418003?has...
