Thanks for quick reply re exhaust manifold fitting.
No, its an old vvc (1997) - I don't think it has air con (I've just bought it).

Good news however if its the case I don't have to lift the head!

The flange on the exhaust manifold to the flexi downpipe has sheared off on my MGF vvc, so I need to replace the exhaust manifold. I'd very much appreciate any information regarding this job - ie, where can I get a replacement manifold (4 stud), is it possible to do this job with the head on and the...
