I can see the advantages in f to tf subframes swap as f suspension is unforgiving,the air-conditioning is something I didn't know you could do very clever James is the f now ready for the road???

Just wanted to say thanks to James for helping me out with programming new fobs they work perfectly very happy I can lock and unlock car,James also cleared some fault codes for me as well top man many thanks James,good luck on fitting air-conditioning system in the mgf !!!

Ok James thanks I have got 2 fobs which have been refurbished hopefully I can start car with old fob is Sunday still ok???

Ok James thanks I've ordered 2 fobs on fleabay hopefully here soon I take it you will need my mgf in order to reprogram new fobs ???

That would be great thanks how much please and may I have address I might have to work Saturday when is it convenient for you sir?? Starting mgf is very difficult and really annoying can the original fob be refurbished as I would like 2 fobs ideally

;) Hi there,I have a early 1996 mgf but I have only 1 fob and it's becoming almost impossible to lock unlock or even start as I think the fob has had it I've heard that generally the ECU, immobilizer,is generally very reliable but I don't want to spend £££ trying to reprogram new fobs might be cheap...

Hi all,got a early 1996 mgf but have only got one key fob and 2 keys ,spare key cut by timpsons does unlock car and petrol,boot etc but won't start car can I program a spare fob myself???

Sticking throttle
Hi all,I got a weird problem with my 1996 mgf 1.8i every now and again the throttle sticks and races on ,I usually tap the throttle pedal and everything back to normal what can I do to stop this ???? She's recently had new cambelt and water pump changed but problem was before this any ideas and hope...

Yes I recently purchased a gt exhaust system, reasonably easy to fit the only problems we're the exhaust clamp needed reducing in size, redrilling and rebolting, slight increase in noise but not noticibly ,good quality exhaust

Too true Rob there's a certain satisfaction from having a Go and I think u get a better understanding of your car over time I have tried to do most jobs the only one I shy away from is cambelts but I must change my one in mgf is it s straightforward job or a nightmare

Yup got a 01 CDT terrific car so comfy ,mgf is weekend fun car and track day animal if u want to practice welding buy a old triumph mine was bad
