KJS emissions fail 161120.JPG I was expecting to find an air leak when I took the lid off but nothing presents as obvious, no...

Re: Tyres and the MoT !
I had an advisory last week on my ZS for tyre profiles as the front and rears are slightly different. I bet they flag up the size difference on the F. That’s ignorance on the testers side or he’s being a bit of a .......... . Rules are that the same size and profile must fitted to the same axle. Go...

Re: Tyres and the MoT !
Well I had to use the spare on "Blue 33" as the N/S/R blew out on the way home from collecting her. Have an MOT booked for 10:00 am tomorrow so we shall see about tyres and whatever they have changed since last year. I had an advisory last week on my ZS for tyre profiles as the front and rears are ...

SRS light driving me mad!
Does sound. Like the connectors under either the passenger or drivers seat. The connectors in the plug dry out. Pop them apart and put done Vaseline on the pins. The seat belt tensioners can also cause the SRS light Both my 75 and TF do the same thing, usually in the way to the test station lol Sent...

OBD2 reader won't 'find' car
Early 2005 TF Spark. First post on here. With an amber engine warning light sticking on (all seems to run/drive ok) bought a cheap hard wired reader. Powered up ok but won't communicate with vehicle. Works fine on my MK7 Golf! Guess I should try a bluetooth type? recommendations? Pscan looks very g...

Re: New owner - Pektron fob question
pektron fobs can’t be reprogrammed without the bar code. I think the code can be pulled from the ecu with t4, other than that you need to change the pektron bcu for one with two fobs. Have you got the eka code?

mgf coolant question.
The cooling system should be vacuumed vacumated before refill, seems like you have air bubbles. Almost all of us have by now emptied and refilled our cooling system, and only the factory and dealers had the vacuum system as far as I have heard. A damn good bleed to get the air out is indeed crucial...

Re: Standard accessories and Optional extras
Rob, thanks for the info. Mine is late ( December ) 2004, so has the later loom. Nigel, I'm told that you just need the motors, but I'm sure someone will put me right if that's not the case. Additionally I believe you may need the circuits on the SCU made active - Remobilize did this for me recentl...

Re: Standard accessories and Optional extras
Gavin, I am guessing that you have a TF115? :) Yes: you're in luck: the volumetric alarm can be retrofitted (it's plug and play), and you can also re-instate remote central locking, as the loom connectors are all there. :thumbsu: I have an 04 115, what would I need to add central locking Sent from ...
