Choice of head Head gasket
So I not sure which HG to order, do I go with the standard Rover item with the silicone seals or the MLS type? 2001 non VVC 1.8. What are the pros/cons to each type?

So final question, as I will be rebuilding head, is it worth porting the head at same time and has anyone used waterless coolant instead of standard water and antifreeze mix, any thoughts?

So have had current MGF (2002) 1.8 for a couple of years, had an issue last year with water leaking from thermostat housing so car has been of road in garage as didn’t have time to get to work on it. So have now replaced housing and stat, flushed system through and left running for a few hours absol...
