Re: My new 'freestyle' project

The coolant alarm came from a guy on ebay. I'll find a link later for it. It works really well and pretty easy to fit with really clear instructions. The mirror won't stick to the windscreen, the whole lot keeps falling off. I've tried lots of different adhesive that are advertised for the job but t...

Re: My new 'freestyle' project

Quick update. The new clutch slave cylinder sorted things out, clutch arm seems fine πŸ™‚ Engine light has also turned itself off which is a result. Downside, (as is normal with these) headgasket seems to be on its way out. πŸ™„ Always something.

Got the time and weather to change the clutch slave cylinder. Easy enough to do, used a vacuum bleeder to bleed it. Back on the road now 😁

The 2 other mgf projects I picked up had to go, not much chance of me getting on with them any time soon. Not many miles put on this one either  A couple of issues have raise...

I have used the cutting, burning and generally violent methods to get bushes out. It's not the best way but it works :D

New project

Well, time to start another of my mgf's. A nice Taihti Blue one. Just the standard 1.8, nothing fancy but i like to save them rather than break or scrap them. Body isn't bad, interior is nice, underneath is going to need some work. Lot's of surface rust and a good sized hole on the floor behind the ...
