Re: Catalyst theft

Eventually got this fitted too.... a couple of snapped bolts, only one side replaced with poly bush and new bracket, the bigger 'cat saver' nuts and bolts fitted and a bit paint removed from bumper but hey ho... noise on way to work this morning was nicer...

Re: what have you done on your mgf today?

Apparently it's carbon fibre.... not wood.... now wonder what red carbon fibre vinyl might look like given that they have plastic nuts I can undo to remove them rather than those dodgy clips that snap the posts off.... but for now the colouring of the interior continues..... 20210801_123158.jpg 2021...

Hi Mick,

There's a Rover Ex Part dealer https://www.turnbullmotors.com/ in Washington, there's also MGR Blaydon, and MG Rover spare Teeside at Billingham, rovetec at Stockton....

I'm just Low Fell so not far from Washington. Sorry to hear about car, but glad it's back :)

Careful, careful.... nope hammer time

So who else started with the plan to carefully open up the the little plastic clips and gently remove the pins, but ended up with the thought process, nobody will see the underside when it's fitted, I can even glue them in so place screwdriver in center of each one and hit it with hammer?
