Install scheduled for this week... had to wait about 5 months for it to be built and sent to Australia, but looks like it was worth it... gorgeous little piece of engineering! Audio test next week!

Re: New Suplex springs squeaking terribly
UPDATE... Rimmer Bros advised to rotate the spring units 180 degrees. Did this today and... no more squeaking!

Re: New Suplex springs squeaking terribly
Thanks for the advice... while starting to get that "damn, I've blown $2000 on a lemon" feeling, I live in hope. If they are no good, Rimmer will have to have them back (from Australia!). The install instructions say if all four units squeak there has been an install error... rather vague...

New Suplex springs squeaking terribly
Took the F out for a run with brand new Suplex spring kit. The ride on the new suspension is fantastic, however it is emitting a terrible squeak even with the tiniest movement of the car. Sounds like a kid jumping up and down on a squeaky spring mattress or a dog chewing a squeaky toy! Driving me ab...

PLEASE HELP... 1999 MGF immobiliser / ECU / EKA code problem has put me off the road
Hello all 1999 MGF in Australia is not turning over after a battery disconnection (new dry suspension). Key fobs lock and unlock the car and activate/deactivate the alarm. But when I turn key to start, all the pretty lights come on but silence when I try to start it. Tried the 4 digit manual overrid...

How / where to obtain a front splitter for MGF
Based in Australia. None for sale anywhere it seems. Has anyone tried fitting a "generic" splitter or custom the only way to go?

Hi from Australia
Just wanted to say hello to the Yorkshire owners. Last year, in January, I spent a few (chilly) days based at a farmstay near Danby, where my great great grandparents lie in St Hilda's church yard. My grandfather and great grandfather were born on farm near Lealholm (https://maps.app.goo.gl/1EETe1FW...

Another MGF newbie (Gold Coast, Australia)
Greetings Not in the garage yet, but today I've dived into the MGF club with this example :D. Any GC based enthusiasts, please make yourselves known and stand by for all the beginner questions asked 100 times before! I would be very keen to know how many silver 75th Anniversary cars were made, given...
