As you say, the ride is ‘firm’! Trophy cars also sell the soft ride conversion kits but they’re a tad pricey. I bought used items which weren’t too difficult to fit once I got my hands on an impact wrench!

Think there was something on the mg-rover forum about fitting Audi TT sun visors together with the Audi clips. I’m tempted and looking for good used ones on eBay!

Looks like a full steering rack then? Might be possible to get a refurbed one from a specialist. Anybody out there had any experience of that?
