Re: Hood problem - can't fit tonneau
You have an aftermarket BAS hood, plastic strips above the side windows and oblong glass window, this MAY not fold low enough to fit your tonneau?
Certainly all original hoods with plastic screens or MGFMania glass screens do!

Can't find Sumitomo pads for MGF's? Genuine Mazda MX-5 pads are Sumitomo, designed to be dust free, no dust on my genuine Mazda polished wheels As for our MGF's, yes we get dust from the Pagid pads, it just washes off... Fantastic weather in Lanzarote, flying back on Sunday, ready to drive down to M...

Re: Fitting glass rear screen
... What makes you think the zip is different ? The 2005 glass screened cars were manufactured with a much shorter YKK zip - totally incompatible with the previous OPTI zip. Also the Velcro, down the sides of the screen panel, was different and covered by a rubber molding. People often claim that t...

Re: Fitting glass rear screen
I've been offered a glass rear screen from a 2005 car but the zip is different to the one fitted to my hood, does anyone know if it's possible to just change the zip so it will fit on my 2003? Thanks. Even IF you change the zip you will not be able to fold the hood without unzipping it, and the vel...

Re: 2 button flip blade key fob for under £10!
For £2.98 delivered from China I thought it worth a punt all those months ago. My local (national brand) key cutters had refused to cut the key - something about quality. So with ladies tennis on the box I found something more interesting to do with a set of needle files. Luckily the same people ma...

Looks like a KMS/MPH speedo reduction adapter? They were frequently used on Eunos (JDM MX-5), does it have a UK MPH instrument cluster?

Drive the car, they all drive differently, I've driven 1.6's which drove better than some 160's
Also some 1.6 cars have central and some have body coloured mirrors and door handles

Re: Wheel Spacers
Sorry, for my delay in replying we're in Fuerteventura until 2nd, returning to build our MGLive! stand on 3rd so it will be 6th before I can check - they were Ford studs though.
Alan simply chamfered one edge to fit them without removing the hub, they were the ones suitable for 10mm spacers

Re: Wheel Spacers
10mm spacers are required to fit AP 4 pots over Abingdon wheels, makes the car very twitchy
You can read our experience with them: http://mgfmania.com/the-history-of-mgf-mania/
We've since gone back to 15" VVC wheels, with 280mm discs all round
