Re: Fuel Cap Lubrication
A third recommendation for graphite powder. I had the same issue with my boot lock recently. I was advised by a locksmith never to use oil or WD40 to lubricate a lock, house or car.

Citroen washer jet upgrade
I know this has been discussed before, but just a positive review of my experience of this upgrade. On my last two MOTs the OEM heated jets have been borderline passes. I spent some time cleaning the jets and pipework and drilling out the non return valve but found that the right angle connectors on...

Wanted: MGF Lexus lights 'loom' or damaged lights
Hi, I am looking for the 'looms' that that consist of the individual bulb holders that plug into the OEM wiring sockets. The condition of the bulb holders isn't important just need the connector blocks with wiring attached for Mike Satur's Quads I have got. Will consider an old pair of damaged Lexus...

Re: What colour for Hardtop?
I'd go for Anthracite. Not seen one of those Krafthaus tops before, would be interested in seeing a few more photos of it. The McGovern comment refers I think to the original MGF which had black A posts which matched the black hardtop. Heritage hardtops come in whatever colour you wanted, I have got...

Re: Tall people..are mgf and tf uncomfortable?
I am also 6' 4" and 19 stone so I'm no lightweight. I have had my MGF for 18 years and in that time I have drive many +300 mile trips in a day. Whilst the inside is snug and clearence for my left leg quite restrictive I always get out of the car without any aches of pains which is more than I can sa...

Re: MGF Supersport for sale
Just looked at the photos again, I think it would benefit from a pair of the X Power 'Lexus' lights in chrome that where marketed by MGR for a short while, I have the black version on my Abingdon. As an aside I picked up a set of the old Mike Satur chrome intakes that were a copy of the Supersport g...

MGF Supersport for sale
The MGF Supersport is up for sale, lovely and very important car but I would be too scared with those bespoke panels of accident damage to drive it too much. It would be nice if an enthusiast bought it and was happy to display it at MG car shows. It would be a star of the show at MGF 25 in 2020 :D A...

Your photos of your MGF with yellow intakes look good and have convinced me to experiment with the intakes in BRM Orange. My project for the autumn

Re: MGF splitter in BRM Orange
Thanks all for the comments.
Rob, I enjoyed your talk last week at MGF20 was very interesting to see the MGF body's heel stripped bare.
I am going to do a spare set of intakes with the scoops finished in BRM Orange as see what they look like before making the big step of a splitter in orange.

MGF splitter in BRM Orange
Having seen several MGFs at MGF20 last Saturday with splitter fitted I have decided to get one. I've always had a soft spot for the Rover 200 BRM in Brooklands Green with the bright orange snout and as my MGF is finished in Brooklands green I was thinking of getting the spoiler sprayed in BRM Orange...

Re: Low Mileage Car
Hi Don,
Depending on condition/price I would be interested in the Abingon seats as I want to fit a heated seat kit to my Abingdon but would like the peace of mind of having a spare set if I louse up the hog rings.
