Re: An MGF known as Freddie

Looking at the 2.5 to start with, the insurance gets a bit pricey above this, would love an S eventually though! I'd agree with the above - 3.2S is the one to go for...... if you can afford price/insurance I looked at the 2.5/2.7 before buying my S2K and while they were very nice (other than the sh...

Re: A unique MGF for sale

A sad day Adrian..... :( Fully understand the reasons though as this was how I got with my last F and TF, ie you think you've taken it as far as possible and want a new challenge. Interestingly, as you know my first F was wrote off a few weeks ago and the couple who owned her were looking for anothe...

Re: Another One less....

Insurance have now officially wrote the car off so the owners have asked for a price to buy the car back and then break it....

So if anybody wants/needs anything then make a list..

Add to the above a lined solar red Hardtop as well....... (think it's the heritage one?)

Thats the idea TBH 'G'...... not had chance to use the VX in weeks due to work - so it would make a nice run.

Taking her up to Scotland for a few days next week as well, just hope we/they get some decent weather.

Re: HGF and re-sell value

My MGF exploded in a cloud of steam and oil a few months ago. It is now repaired with an upgraded head gasket kit, new bolts etc and I'm told it will now "never fail again". I have full receipts from a reputable dealer showing all the new parts. I am now considering selling the car, is the HGF some...

Re: DINGS AND DENTS

Thats a handy one to know 'G'...., most of these 'Dent Master/Chips away' type outfits tend to be franchises, and workmanship can VERY much depend on who you get...

Although not much use on my VX as it doesn't dent......... justs cracks instead!...

Re: good specialist near warrington?

can anyone recommend a good mgf specialist round my way? thanks There are no 'Specialists' as such, the nearest is Mike Satur (Yorkshire) or MGF-Centre (Wolverhampton). Depends what you wan't doing, most garages can do 'most' things on the F/TF given most of the mechanicals are common to the MG-Rov...
