Hi and welcome to the forum

Re: H.U.D

I created a HUD in my MG metro, I fitted a maestro digi dash and then a mirror on the steering column, crude but effective.

Re: radio and clock stopped working

It may have fused due to a damaged wire behind the radio.

Re: Full body tonneau cover

Best thing about the full tonneau is that you can drive in cold weather or late on a chilly night, with the roof down, but with a nice warm lower body with the warm air from the heater trapped by the fabric :D Otherwise, I agree with James - work of a moment to lift and secure the roof when parked ...

Re: MGF Trophy rebuild

Yeah, how many of us do work on our F/TFs just to increase value, in fact I probably go the other way and spend money on it so that I can't justify selling it as I'd lose so much, stops Mr TC spending £22k on her Fiat spider ;)

Re: MGF Trophy Hydragas Spheres Repaired - Brilliant!

Fair enough. I wonder if there's a high-strength adhesive which could do the job. Some of these modern glues are pretty amazing. Is there even space to drill the sphere for the valve, though? Not 400 psi good. The spheres need to be depressurised to do the welding and removing them from the car isn...

It isn't difficult, it is basically a relay and there are plenty of kits on eBay.

Re: Jump Start Every few days - battery or other hidden issue?

New components have been known to fail so check they are performing properly, also check all earths and positive connections. Check the drain on the battery after switch off, there will be a small drain for a few minutes but should be almost unreadable after about 12 minutes. If there is a drain loc...
