Re: TF 'N' Series engine
That's been the one good point is getting parts is no issue, and even some of the Chinese 'eBay' sites seem to list most of the usual service parts. Swampy, one of the problems I have discovered is that in their wisdom SAIC agreed to MG Motor UK fitting Euro Sachs dampers and UK sourced brake pads a...

Re: TF 'N' Series engine
Whilst NAC funded the changes, it was really the input of the original team that knew what was needed to rectify but for which the money was never forthcoming under the Phoenix 4. Whilst the TCi-Tech was SAIC and reverse engineered so to speak, there were a good number of the original Longbridge tea...

Re: Oil Additives
The nano technology is a benefit in so far as it is chemically inert and unlike the historic friction modifiers of old that used chemistry (Zinc and Sulphur) and temperature to activate, the new types work in much the same way as older solid suspensions of EP additive by coating onto the surface to ...

Re: Cybox made by Cybrand exhausts?
As David says, I have a box on mine from there. I left the car with them for the day and this was the first they had done, but based it on the ZT 1.8T and although a little bassy/boomy in the car it is certainly attracting attention now along with the cold air feed turbo dump valve sounds! It is not...

Re: Unleaded or super unleaded?
Super unleaded for me. The car was remapped with super unleaded in mind- definitely better IMHO Yes mine has been remapped for 97ron also, a worthwhile mod! Actually, 99RON (Shell Vpower or Tesco Momentum), but in reality I think Mark backed it off slightly for RON98 as that is more widely availabl...
