Re: 28 April'13 Sunday lunch and Run
Hello, I own a 2009 MGTF LE500 and live in Exmouth. Do I need to be a member of the MGCC to take part in these MGF register events? Pls reply to: jimferrisdrumstyle@yahoo.co.uk. Many thanks,

Re: Noisy belt.
My nearest dealer, other than the one I won't use, is possibly Yeovil (50mls I think). I emailed them nearly 24 hours ago and am still awaiting a reply!

Re: Noisy belt.
Relieved to hear we are talking about the same side of the car! I am currently trying to establish with MG who is my next nearest dealer, trained and equipped in the 'new' TF. Not proving to be as easy as you would expect.

Re: Noisy belt.
Thank you for all replies so far. Bearing in mind that this is the newer 1.8N series engine (don't know how much that effects things, other than the head gasget and waterways). The belt concerned is behind the OFFSIDE wheel, don't know if you meant that "Bandit" and the fact that the car is still un...

Noisy belt.
I own an Oct 2009 TFLE500 with 11,500 miles on it which I have owned from new. In the last few weeks I have noticed that when the engine is hot ,the external engine belt is 'hissing' / very mildly 'squeaking'. I tried spraying WD40 on it and it 'cured' it immeadiately, BUT the noise returns. I don't...

Re: MG6 saloon launch
Hang on, am I being thick here? I thought the MG6 saloon was launched a couple of months ago. So where does this "new" 6 Magnette fit in to it all ? Do I take it that the GT version is now just the hatchback varient ? Whilst I am on the subject. Has anyone actually seen an MG 6 being driven on the r...

Re: MGTF LE500 laquer problem
My car went in to be resprayed towards the end of May with a predicted job start date of June 1st. It's now 29th of June and I'm told it will be hopefully finished next Tuesday.....(ish). To me, that means it will have spent at least three of those five weeks sat in the corner of the workshop doing ...

Re: MG6 VIP Launch Event
Saw my very first MG6 up close today. My first impressions (for what they are worth). One, I like the overall styling though it seems much smaller on the inside than the outside. the front windows are claustrophobically small with the very high waistline. The rear doors are nice and big but you get ...

Re: TF Mud Flaps update
Does anyone know if the profile for the 2002+ TF flaps would be the same as the LE500 profile?

Re: MGTF LE500 laquer problem
When was the last time you spoke to someone about it ? Is it your dealer who is the problem ? Dealer seems reluctant to get on with it (MG approved the job on 23rd March, subject to estimate) I fear that they possibly think it is beyond them, especially as I am an extreemely fussy bu**er. I may be ...

Re: MGTF LE500 laquer problem
It has to be a full respray, the laquer problem is all over the car, not just the bits that have already been damaged. Ive got chips all over my car, not just on the front. There will be a fight with mine if they just try to put a "few sticking plasters" over the worst chipped areas.

Re: MGTF LE500 laquer problem
Good luck and tell them you are extreeemely fussy and do not expect to be dissatisfied !
I'm stuck with the hardtop still on mine as that needs doing as well. I am so frustrated in this lovely weather!

Re: Replacement for TF confirmed?
Can I just mention Auto Express again? Just read any four consecutive weekly editions to confirm that it should only be issued monthly, if at all. Talk about constantly regurgitating the same information over and over. Obviously a desparate attempt to fill the pages with something.
