Make sure to wrap the new hose with some heatresisting tape. I had a simular problem with the same hose and my TF always had a heat shield.

I have no experience with this combination but I had Toyos fitted on the back and the original GSD2 on the front and that worked well on mt TF.

Does really anyone put 7ish years old tires on his TF?
