Hi Jerry , thanks for your response. I fitted a new alternator in March 2017 & fortunately it had a 12 months warranty , so will be fitting a new one today. Also fitting a new 80 amp fuse instead of the 60 amp. All connections and earthing straps etc. seem fine. Never had a moments problem with elec...

Large charging circuit fuse blew this morning, not determined why yet. The fuse was 60 amp but looking for a replacement on line , they appear to be 80 amp. Please confirm correct size and reasons why it would blow. MG TF MY2005.

Had similar tapping from engine recently. Found one of the plugs was not as tight in it's seating as the 3 others. Not loose but it was nearly possible to remove by turning the plug socket by hand.
