Re: Test drive number 1

Thanks for that,Brian,I thought it may well be a splines issue but the dial did feel well located and just wanted to make sure it wasn't a mechanism issue.
Thanks.

Test drive number 1

Well I managed my first test drive today,a blue 2004 1.8.I am not sure this would be the one I would be parting with my cash for as it was at the high end of the price range and was not that well spec'd.But using this as a base of a car from a franchised dealer with a full service history I will kno...

Oh my Lord!
What a shame I was looking forward to meeting you at the next meeting and being shown what I should be looking for in my hunt!
Low flying Honda's seem to be the main thing!
Hope the driver gets suitably shafted.

Re: Silver 80th

Thanks for the input people. I had rather drawn these conclusions myself. The vendor was most adamant that it was what it was described as.I guess I just wanted to make sure that no one was gonna pop up and say "Ah yes but they made some odd missfired ones by mistake"which would make it a bit odd an...

Silver 80th

Before I trudge 150 miles to look I would appriciate some input. I have spoken to the vendor and been told that the previous owner did not like the red roof so had it replaced, which is the one thing that makes me think it is or could be an 80th.BUT.The seats seem wrong there is no"1924 MG 2004" badg...
