Well, not exactly sold but Keith has requested it, so no longer available.
Thanks

Re: MGF - The Birth of a New Legend - Video
Hi, just a quick update, I've found someone to transfer the VHS video onto a DVD format, which will mean I can review the video for the first time!
I'll let you know if it's any good

Re: 23 years ago today
Ah! The car that started my MGF obsession! I bought it from a guy in Carlisle and went to collect it in my ZT with my brother one winter's Saturday. Drove beautifully on the test drive and then on the journey home around Tebay, a cloud of steam appeared, the temperature gauge headed north and the re...

MGF - The Birth of a New Legend - Video
Hi all, I have a copy of a Rover Group video 'MGF - The Birth of a New Legend', produced in 1995 to mark the launch of the MGF. I don't know how many were produced - I never seen another one and in truth I've never watched it, as it's in VHS format and I don't have a machine. I would like to donate ...

Re: New k-series book by Iain Ayre and Rob Hawkins
Hi guys, I just received my copy and have read most of it with interest. On the whole it seems a good read, though I agree with Mykel about some of the content. Overall good and glad I got it, though it made me realise what good value Roger Parker's book is. I also loved the authors poke at the fail...

Well done Jane & Rob!
You've done an absolutely cracking job on Snowdrop. Looks absolutely lovely and far, far better than when you bought her off me!
I hope you're really enjoying all your lovely MG's.
Best wishes
Phil

Re: MGF Trophy rebuild
Hi Kevin, I was up at Prestige MG at the weekend and I've got to say your Trophy is just simply stunning! Love the quad pipe exhaust. And the underside looks almost as good as the bodywork. Never seen one that clean before! The colour is just brilliant. I'd never been a fan of anthracite before, a b...

MGF Ex Works Tokyo Show Car on ebay
Apparently there's a very early MGF ex-works car for sale on eBay. It is being advertised as the Tokyo show car, which after the exhibition was shipped back to Longbridge and later used for competition sprints with the factories blessings. Registered in July 1995, it's got an 'M' plate, and a specia...

Re: Stepspeed? What to look out for ??
Hi, our experience is with a ZR Stepspeed. It's a brilliant gearbox blighted by reliability issues. It's brilliant to use, giving excellent acceleration - no loss of time while the box changes up. The button change on the steering wheel are a hoot too. We looked after ours really carefully. Oil was ...

Re: WANTED. TF >£1800 leather seats a must!
Hi and thank you for your kind words about my TF. I have to agree, it's pretty special in that spec and drives spot on. I took it out over the weekend and fell in love with it again, so probably best that I hang on to it. Good luck with the car you were going to see this weekend. I hope it turns out...

Good luck with the viewing this weekend, but if it doesn't come off, let me know. I could take the hardtop out of the equation to get much closer to your budget if it helped.

Re: WANTED. TF >£1800 leather seats a must!
Hi, I have a 2004 Solar Red TF 135 that I could be tempted to sell for the right offer. It has cream Oxford leather seats with matching cream/beige interior and wood/leather steering wheel, plus wood look centre console and door trims. It has the 4 pot AP front calipers and 16" alloys with Falken ty...

Re: Pre production MGF for sale on ebay
Hi Rob and David, I spoke too the seller at length about this car. He is a really nice guy and had no idea what the car was and consequently was surprised by the level of interest. I was really interested in buying it, but when I checked out the costs involved to do it properly, it just didn't add u...

Re: Pre production MGF for sale on ebay
Hi David, it appears to be a genuine Rover Group pre-launch car. The V5 states the colour as being orange and this is confirmed by the paint code on the cars VIN plate - definitely Volcano! The other interesting thing is it appears to be a VVC. Apart from having a VVC engine, the trim code on the VI...

Re: The good news and not so good news
Hi there,
I'm really interested to know why you decided to move to Bulgaria, as it must be quite an upheaval and a lot more difficult than moving to say France or Spain? I really wish you well with the search for your new permanent home and for the future.

Re: Pre production MGF for sale on ebay
Hi David, Not doubting your information for one minute, but do you know for sure that this car was originally Volcano? I only ask as family members who worked on MGF launch at Longbridge have no recollection of any of the early cars being finished in Volcano, as it was introduced later after launch....
