Re: Bigger Wheels on an MGF
Both of our cars have the bigger AP brakes and 16" TF wheels.
Those 17" look great!

Re: Spending money
I've got 2 MG's and the Rover as previously listed. It does all add up (especially road tax compaired to modern cars) but I reckon the total is still not as much as three 'modern' cars would cost to run each month.

Haha - Only MG could be responsible for producing less 'Normal' cars than a 'Limited Edition' run!

Re: Chinese MGTF's
Our 'Chinese' LE is 65/500 so an early(ish) one. It has the same mirrors as the TF.
The alternator is in a slightly different place though, higher up.

Re: Spending money
I look at it this way:
I'd be spending £200 - £300 per month each car on finance for me to own something more modern and less fun to drive.
I don't think I spend the same amount on the TF, LE500 or Rover 75 if it was added up over the course of the year.

Re: Bigger Wheels on an MGF
With the contrast between the current black wheels and the bright orange wheel arches on 'Jaffa' - you really notice how much space there is! I'd be interested to see what's available if you look to go bigger than the standard 16" wheels available to fill these arches - probably not a lot with the u...

The door end rubber bits (yes, those ones that always fall off) are slightly different too.
Oh, and the speedo is on the opposite side to the rev counter (illustrated in Rob's post). I keep thinking i'm doing 3,000 MPH.

The front bumper is little a bit different too... and the gear knob tends to have faded from black to a bronzy orangy colour.

Re: Special editions
I've kept the originals of any parts I've replaced so can easily revert back to standard if needed.
Apart from the back box...that was knackered.
That's what I told the wife anyway!
