Re: You can take it with you
Actually just north on the Loir (no e) river but it's easier to say Loire then people have an idea where you are. Roads up and down the Loire are very busy and not pleasant at all. Tourists and commercials all over, in some areas the north bank is best for driving, quieter. Away from the tourist are...

Re: You can take it with you
Just been to the Loire region, (600 miles from here) what did I take?
Mobile phone, break down insurance, that was it.
No parts or spares just go.
I always think that whatever you take it will be something else that fails.

Certificate of Conformity is NOT needed to register in France they now have the system up and running that eliminates the need for every car to have one.
The type approval number is enough.

Autoglym for me.
As the water here is very hard and dries patchy, I use Aquawax to dry the car with and it keeps the shine going and avoids the streaks.

Re: Wanted: MGF servo support bracket
Fitting the Jaylad bracket is much easier.
No fitting inside the car and no need to remove the plastic cover under the bonnet.

Re: Calling all experts... urgent advice required.. OMG(F)
Wheel alignment is normally necessary if the car displays strange handling characteristics , you don't feel as you can trust the car round the bends. Pulling to the left is invariably the EPAS and as said there's how to fix this common problem. I had one car that corrected itself after disconnecting...

Clashes with the start of the Tour De France in Yorkshire so I may be the only Yorkshireman there
I usually have 5 or 6 mates staying for the Classic but I think this year the will be watching the Tour, I watch the Tour but it's a bit far to go for me, I'll wait for it here in France
