I'm pretty sure mine was one of the earlier units. Hopefully most of those with earlier units are in touch with Suplex and have had their issues resolved.

Also glad to hear that GAZ is the manufacturer of the current dampers. Their quality seems to be good.

The immboliser allows the car to start and run for a few seconds, somewhere between 3 and 30 seconds and then cuts the fuel. Worth checking the inertia switch which cuts the fuel. From the looks of it Darren you just need to sort out the Lambda, and do a general check/service for it to be mechanically ready for the MoT.

Good work, and good to see an early F getting some TLC.

It's a first run then. I've also confirmed it with the registration date. It was registered in May '01 (The same month the Trophy was introduced according to Rob Bell's site).

After you replaced the bushes, did you have 4 wheel alignment done? It's entirely possible the tracking is out either on the front wheels and/or the rear wheels.

Getting this set correctly may well cure the issue.
