Hard top headlining

Last week I refitted my hard top which has spent the last six months in an unseated shed. Unfortunately the use of the heater(?} has caused the headlining to come away from the shell. Has anybody any suggestions about methods they have used, or could recommend, to reattach it. The headlining itself ...

MGF or MGTF hood for sale

About 12 months I upgraded to a colour coded hood with glass rear screen. Since then my previous hood from a 2003 car has been sat in my shed. Hopefully the attached photo will show that the rear screen is clear and uncracked. The hood itself has a very small Nick on the near side pillar, but has be...

Have upgraded to a colour coded hood with glass screen - FOR SALE - standard hood

image.jpeg image.jpeg As a result have a hood taking up space in my shed. The hood is useable and water tight with a good rear screen. However, there is a small knick in the n.s. rear quarter. Doesn't let water in though. However 2, the exterior in particular would benefit from a clean to remove th...

The attached is a cat D write off, apparently only needing a new bumper and exhaust.
I assume the insurance company has decided the cost of repairs is more than 50% of the vehicle's value

Rename this thread????

I wonder whether this thread now should be "who hasn't been spotted". I am just back from a 3 day 600+ miles visit to the south west and never spotted a single F or TF.
Have they all been SORNed or may be only come out at night, LOL?
( hopefully nobody will suggest I should visit Specsavers!)

Re: Who`s been Spotted..........

Trophy blue TF followed my trophy blue from Sandsend, up Lythe Bank and gave me a flash when I turned off at the Mickleby turn. (A171for those not fortunate enough to know the Yorkshire Coast, LOL)

FOR SALE: TF seats 70000miles

image.jpg
Having upgraded to leather seats these are now surplus and taking up storage space in my shed.
As can be seen there is some slight but repairable wear to the drivers seat from rubbing of the seatbelt; passenger seat is perfect.
Pick up DE4 or TS13 postcodes, or could deliver locally.

Steptronic

Have just come across an ad for a step tropic "spares or repair as gearbox belts are slipping".
Tempting price, but are gearbox repairs feasible? Cheap?

Re: Peaks and Dales Natter - Tuesday 3rd June

Hi Phil, hope you were not completely on your own! (I was 300 miles away in a very wet Cornwall, but did manage to get hood down on way back after stopping at Asda (Cribbs Causeway) for a bite to eat. Only saw three F or TF in three days and just over 700 miles of travelling.

Re: WANTED blue leather/alcantara seats for TF

Thanks to everybody who messages me over this request.
I now have a set of blue leather/alcantara seats to fit.
Apart from 16" wheels, how else is a cool blue TF different to a standard production car?

No longer WANTED blue leather/alcantara seats for TF

I saw a pair of these advertised by a breaker some weeks ago, but at the time my PPI refund claim had not come through. It has now, and I am looking to invest in an upgrade for my TF rather than investing in an ISA with derisory interest rates. PM me if you can help, but it may take me 10 days or so...

Re: May Pub meet-Clock Warehouse-Tuesday 20th @ 8 !TIME CHAN

After last nights discussions I really should be washing, polishing and waxing.

Problem is that I live on an unadapted road, and the puddles remain from last night so whenever a neighbour passes my MG gets splashed!
