Tonneau cover
Hi folks - I have a problem with both the tonneau covers on our MGF'S - they seem to be shedding what looks like a sand type substance which is a real pain when you take them off - is there any tricks to prevent this ? -Cheers Marty

Just a shout out for this dealer as I know people have asked if they are any good - Had a front wheel bearing on the wife's F done all in for £45 while I waited - helpful and friendly service - good price and lots of cars to look around - happy with that.

Thanks chaps - the 'bar' in question is normally fixed to the headlining holding the rear window upper zip section - as mine is a non removable window there is nothing on the headlining to fix it to so I have to push it into position - photo of rear bar after I have pushed to the correct position : ...

Job now done on my wife's car - pleased with the result.Just need to paint the rivets black. The replacement was I believe for a Chinese model with no zip for the rear window. Many thanks for the guide Stuart - had a couple of spare hours today so have managed to get the old cover off (Not too bad a job )- Hope to get the new one on in the next couple of days

Hi - I recently did my cam cover gasket - as has been said you need to remove the engine access cover - it;s a straight forward job - make sure you follow the correct tightening sequence and torque and you will be fine - Marty

Does anybody know if the Mark 1 and 2 soft top frames are the same ? - I have a Mark 1 hood and a mark 2 fabric cover which I need to fit to the frame of the worn out mark 1Many thanks Marty

Hi Folks - I am after a front fog light switch (latching type) and a rear heated window switch from a mark 2 MGF or TF as I have changed my center console and the mark 1 switches don't seem to fit or look quite right - many thanks Marty
