Re: MGTF Sprint (53) For Sale

Yes, I was after a van to help move my son from York to Leeds but we eventually managed that through a friend of a friend. Also, we had decided to overhaul our bathroom in the new year due to various factors. In that time, my mum gave me and my sister a good slice of our 'inheritance' so I decided t...

Re: MGTF Sprint (53) For Sale

This car is now sold. I sold it to a friend at work and can honestly say it looked very good setting off from my home. I had it valeted before selling and couldn't believe it was the same car! Thanks everyone for your help and stories etc, I have loved the times in the TF and it truly is a British m...

Re: MGTF Sprint (53) For Sale

Hi, the original factory fitted exhaust finally had it's day last Friday during the MOT so a new original spec one was put on by the garage.

Re: MGTF Sprint (53) For Sale

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply but been busy at work. Yes, I still have the car but not advertised it just yet mainly because I'm still searching for a replacement. If you want to call me or get in touch by whatever means then please feel free to PM me with contact info. In the meantime, you can sc...

Re: MGTF Sprint (53) For Sale

Just had new nearside track rod end and ball joint fitted, tracking re-aligned & new wipers. The car feels really good and 'tight' to drive and would be an absolute bargain for anyone on here.
I will probably list elsewhere this weekend for a higher price.
Thanks for looking.

Re: Thinking of selling!

Hi all, I have now decided to sell my car but thought I would advertise here before anywhere else. Latest updates are: 6 months tax (probably irrelevant now)! 12 months MOT (Oct. 2015) New exhaust, New rear brake pads, The rear wheel arch issue as previously mentioned above has now been repaired and...

Re: mot day!

My TF passed today (4th/10) although I supplied them with a brand new exhaust to fit as mine was pretty much done for. Not bad really as it was given to me by the dealer who I bought the car from as he said it would only last approx 6 months but two years later I can't complain. :D

Re: Central locking sticking?

I removed the door card/trim within seconds thanks, then peeled back the membrane. I lubricated all the moving parts that I could see but the door pin fails to move up or down when using the key fob. I can manually lock and unlock the door with the key and the central locking works fine with the fob...

MGTF Sprint (53) For Sale

I'm reluctantly considering selling my silver MGTF Sprint (135bhp) and would appreciate your thoughts on a price etc. The reason for this rash decision is simple, I'm probably going to need a small van for the year as my son is about to leave York University and he has tons of stuff to bring back ho...

Central locking sticking?

Just started to stick on the driver-side door so are there any tips for curing this easily? I have tried spraying maintenance spray down the door lock pin and through the keyhole etc?

Thanks.

Re: Unique MGF wheels

Weirdly I'm going completely the opposite route and returning my car to absolutely bog standard exactly as it left the factory for MG90- it's only mildly modified to begin with but only because it's going to be in the timeline with 90 other period correct MG's, so would somebody shoot me please as ...

Re: roof cleaner

I've recently bought some 'Fenwicks Spray Awning Reproofer'. Can anyone recommend it before I probably apply it this weekend? Would it be better to spray on or empty into a container and use a brush? Thanks. http://www.fenwicks.info/caravan/index.php/exterior-products/reproofer-for-awnings-tents htt...
