hi all when i release my handbrake it is still free to move enough to allow the light to come on. done a quick search and i dont think the calipers are sticking on as the car drives as it should and does not slow down rapidly when i let off/coast. basically while im driving and hit a bump the light ...

tried tapping the face but that didnt do anything :( lol spoke to the garage where i bought the car and they spoke to mg (read : looked at their website). They said that there is no offical figure for normal running oil temp, but that between 100 and 130 is quite normal... They will have to eat thei...

I do not consider 120 as high. Nor do I, but after 15 miles at 50 MPH? That is the only issue I have with this subject. Why is that an issue? some of the temperatures being thrown around here (of 130-150) would mean that 120 was just about right for a constant low speed? Gona mention it to the gara...

I do not consider 120 as high. My Steptronic goes to 155 when driven hard in the Alps. 2000 model had a fault in the indication of the oil temperature. within a couple I would say 120 deg in 15 miles at 50 mph is a bit high, please realise it is an indicator, it is not a certified measuring instrum...

Hi all Just want to check that this is right - only had the pleasure of driving my MGF VVC about 50 miles and I have noticed my oil temp sits at about 120 once it has warmed up... this is on my commute to work (15 miles on a relativly straight road averaging 50mph) Is this temperature correct? seems...
