Re: Breaking Trophy
Hi Phil
A number of reasons for breaking, this one is not particularly desirable due to the condition! I have another so will be keeping some parts to keep it on the road.
It is blue, steering wheel is worn but yours for £25 - I believe they can be dyed back to the original state?

Re: MG TF 160 - Breaking - all parts for sale
Hi
I need the 160 head, would you consider splitting the engine? If so please let me know a price delivered to a Uk address?
If not, what would you like for the complete engine?
Thanks
Steve

Its the bottom right fixing for the cup that holds the hydragas sphere in placeJohn SS wrote: The top left fixing is a bolt with a captive nut that also secures a bracket (can't remember what the bracket does) and is behind the shock absorber.

Re: Centre console coming off
A simple one to do is swap around the clock and oil temp gauge. I find I look at the temp more often than the time (so I know when it is safe to go to the redline :) ) so makes sense to have it closer to your line of vision. once you have the console out turn it over and undo the four screws that se...

Re: MG tf coolant boiling out of filler cap
Try the cap as a first stop, however I had a similar symptom which turned out to be the HG.
Also had to replace the head as it had indentations around the fire rings (hence the HG failure) possibly caused by me using the car when it overheated

Thanks Stuart, I have seen both the cars you mention and the black one is a possibility. The blue one is missing the splitter so worries me a little!

I have one in JFV / Trophy blue but its in North Yorkshire!
