Hey guys ..went in through the vent today to gain access to the back of the oil gauge - the bulb has gone so thought I would take it out and then go pick up a replacement. Clarky - what have have you got on the front?? Still not replaced my tyres yet but if I put toyos on the back and leave the continentals on the front...then I save myself a few quid for a month or two but worried about the handling....

Hi just thought I'd let you know that the radiator was replaced and coolant bled (the garage tells me god knows how many times) and the car - fingers crossed - appears to be running just fine!! so thanks for all the advice

Thanks so much for this ...they say that they had an mgf in before and the head was cracked ..they recommended a reconditioned engine, fitted it and the guy went through two radiators in two months! they are good mechanics I think..but really worried that they are not mg specialists....

HI Rob - thanks for this I really hope that there is no damage either. I stopped the car as soon as I felt the heater go cold and simultaneously saw the temp gauge go up..so fingers crossed.
