Re: Volcano numbers?
Again, I would need Dieter for that John as the data I would need is the historic MGR version, which I know is wrong. I can give you the first and last but as this states only 190 cars I doubt it's credibility. Hurry up and buy some MGF Mk2's will you, the data on them is good  You almost won ...

Re: Volcano numbers?
With regards to Abingdon LE's , any idea how far off the numbers are. Last I remember 250 MPi and 150 VVC. But not sure if that's only UK models!

Thanks Adrian!
So, I would assume the numbers for Abingdon LE's are off too as the colour is not listed on the VIN data for Japanese cars and quite a few Abingdon LE's went to Japan.

Re: Volcano numbers?
Thanks Adrian, I knew you were busy so no rush!
Interesting, there must be some glitches in the data as Rich's VVC Volcano is 022560 and according to the "other clubs" VIN database was built March 27,1997.
Is it possible (or too difficult) to differentiate how many LHD versus RHD??

Yes, I have looked at that site but from what I have heard it is not overly accurate and it does not break down RHD vs LHD either.
I'm sure one of the Gurus will have the answers??

Do any of the "VIN Guru's" know how many Volcano cars were produced in LHD in either 1.8mpi or VVC??
To add to the question which VIN was first and last for the colour??

Re: So the journey begins for Team Turbo!
Good luck with the car Michael!
Seems to me the oil seals in the turbo are leaking causing oil to be dumped in the cylinders.
If you get bored with it I'll take it off your hands in a couple of years

Hi Kevin,
Most of the Canadian imported cars are RHD although there are probably 6 LHD one's.
I am on an island too, so I know how you feel!
