The 1.6 F/TF is the only MG/Rover to use the PG1 box.
However I'm not sure if the ratios or just the final drive is different.
Yer same mgtf 1.6. The release bearings are all the same, the clutch plate ect are different part numbers.

Chaps I need some help understanding a problem. I have taken an mgtf 1.6 in for rescue the inital fault was the AA diagnosed as slave cylinder failure. We are still looking for a MGF for display on the main marquee veranda to help us celebrate and promote MGF20. I have heard tonight that the car can now be moved on the Saturday night if that helps anyone make a decision to offer their car. The car will need to be in place early 08:00 ish and wont ...

Keith I would be more than happy to have my Abingdon on display, but I have put in for the Cali Cup and also the parade lap, so I guess unless I can move between these three things then not sure i would want to miss out on the other things?
