thanks. iv seen this and unfortunately the advert doesnt exactly sell it very well, if it needs a clean inside and you spend all that externally why not just get it cleaned? i hate slackarse adverts.

have you ever greased the front suspension at the nipples on top arms? suspect there could be no lubrication of the bearings.

Re: MGF tyres not recommended

there is no doubt the influx of cheap chinese tyres flood our market but cheap doesnt always dictate they are rubbish. best way is check tyre forums for owners reviews before buying, dont forget a tyre that works on one car can be very different to another premium or budget so its not all just black...

Re: slight little glitch thats worrying me.

done 65 miles today and had a few glitches in power, usually at low rpm pulling on part throttle in high gear, no problems starting but she does feel a bit limp compared to usual. changed the cam sensor a month or so ago (used one) as there was fault codes for cam sensor failure, had hesitant runnin...

Re: slight little glitch thats worrying me.

It has a strong sense of something electrical - poor ECU contact? Ignition? James is right: generic EOBD readers purchased off eBay don't always provide a complete listing of all fault codes on these cars. The readers mentioned above do. the code reader iv used before and i also use app on my phone...

Re: Motorbike throttle bodies on a K-series - and run on MEMS3?

The more I think about this, the more I suspect the problem is with that sensor earth... I'll connect up the loom again and snip the wire to see whether that solves it. If not, I've just to solder and re-protect with shrink wrap. ok, simple question, after all this what do you expect is going to be...

Re: slight little glitch thats worrying me.

Does the engine actually stop? no rob, it just has had the odd cut of power for a fraction of a second or two then is fine, slight throttle open just steady driving, the worry was when it wouldnt start without a lot of cranking several times, it normally starts first catch every time even when its ...

Plugs are fine, it's a cut out rather than a misfire.

Re: slight little glitch thats worrying me.

Robbie - what did you use to check for codes? An OBD2 reader will only read OBD2 codes which are codes for faults related to emissions. thanks for replys chaps. i checked for codes and nothing recorded. starts and runs fine atmo, run up to temperature a couple of times and nothing, read codes again...

Re: led head lights

Led bulbs aren't suitable for headlights, unlike hid the focal point of the led is off what it should be inside the reflector so there is no defined beam.

Re: New Head Gasket and cam belt fitted - now overheats

They probably arnt aware of the bleeding procedure, not many do. Usually its a case of running up to temperature with rad cap off and sometimes a bleeder on heater pipes untill fan comes in but us mg owners know its a bit more complicated than that.
