Re: TF Tyres
Re tf tyres, all the warnings (that I am aware of) refer to problems when fitting the later Toyo's to the rear wheels. as my pre. sept.2014 rear Toyo's have only covered approx. 600 miles I am likely to need new tyres on the front before the rears wear out, is there going to be a problem when fittin...

Re: TF EXHAUST?
Hi Nick, thanks for reply, sounds like the exhaust note I am looking for. When I contacted Cybox recently they invited me to visit and see how they manufactured their silencers which tends to give you confidence. Think I will be goiing with Cybox!!. Cheers, Allen. :thumbsu:

TF EXHAUST?
Hi, I need a new silencer on my TF135 and would have a couple of questions. Firstly has anyone fitted a CYBOX s/steel silencer to their TF and if so what is your opinion of this unit? . Second question, should I not go for s/steel can anyone recommend a decent mild steel alternative?. I realise that...

Re: 2005 m/y suspension
Hi Colin, units must be fitted correctly I fitted them myself !!!!!!! :thumbsu: One thing I did notice on removing old units was that two of the top rubber bushes were fitted convex side up and two (diagonaly apposed) convex side down but did not appear to have been touched since new! . I have now s...

Tyre pressures set as recommended on MGF&TF Tyre Options taken from http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com site.
Have just checked workshop manual which recommends 26psi and 36psi.

Re: 2005 m/y suspension
Hi, Mykel: I thought 2005 anti roll bar might have been slightly stronger but obviously not. will consider Cupra splitter though. Steffi: Already have full size spare and (a few) tools in the front!. Chris and Adrian: Car on 16" wheels, Toyo's on the rear and ContiSport Contacts on the front, possib...

2005 m/y suspension
I have fitted 2005 model year springs and s/absorbers (new units) to my 2004 TF, this has improved the ride/comfort (don't know how it compares with Bilstiens but it was considerably cheaper!). Q; does anyone know if any further changes should be made to the a/roll bars, wheel alignment etc. ? as th...

Soft Ride Suspension
As I would like to improve the ride/comfort of my 04reg. TF, has any one had the chance to compare the different modifications on the market and if so which offered the most cost effective improvement?. The ones I had in mind are the VHS Bilsteins, the B&G combined shocks and soft springs, the spax ...

I have an Low Water Level Light on the insrument panel of my TF which lights for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on, however there is no sensor on the coolant tank (and no mention in the owners handbook). There is a plug and wiring next to the tank which I suspect feeds to the warning li...

Patclock Bolt
Is it essential to renew the Patchlock bolt when renewing the cambelt tensioner on TF 135 or, will applying thread lock do the job?, any thoughts/advice on this. Allen.
