Re: 56mm throttle body?

Ta very much, I must confess I was sceptical especially after the vvc comment lol but just thought I would ask. I am considering a 52mm but need to actually check what I have first as the 52 is not visable as I believe it's on the back edge when in place?? Cheers for the reply though, much appreciated

Re: Door panel inserts

I have just seen a set of inserts and trims on evil bay and they were photographed perfectly to demonstrate what I needed to know lol, how lucky was that. Your dead right Rob, bolts and hang over type clips hold it all in place. As for your idea, anything is possible, the only limit is knowledge and...

Re: Door panel inserts

Thanks Rob, mine is a 2002 tf, I saw pics of the backs of the cards and they looked like they were popped on but your saying bolted? So I would need to remove the door card itself and then simply undo them? And that will give me the fabric part as well as the trim part too? It's the actual fabric pa...

Door panel inserts

Hi guys, I know there are threads about door panels but I can't actually find the answer I'm after. How do you remove the actual inserts? Seeing as I have changed the seats I may as well get the matching door card inserts too but don't know how they come off, do they pop off without taking the whole...

Re: what have you done on your mgf today?

Very productive day indeed, cost a bit mind but productive none the less. Got the 16" wheels fitted, got the k&n fitted too and changed the securing clips/brackets on the roof and fitted a pair of seats. Very pleased with myself.

Re: Le500/iphone

I have the sony xplod bt2500 for the mg and the 2700 for my polo, got them off eBay for £16 and £25 respectively. They are perfect condition and do what I need. They don't show what song is being played via Bluetooth but that's ok, I put them on my phone so I'm pretty sure I know who it is playing l...

Previous ecu was standard and the remap was from zandf I was lucky and got one from someone breaking their car that had just had it fitted.

First impressions of the remap

Well! I fitted the zandf ecu the other week but had only run the car up the road, having driven it to work this morning I must confess I am suprised, it's exactly as everyone said it would be, much more willing to rev and much quicker through the gears. I don't drive hard or fast, been there and don...

Even after moving the roof support thing above your head? Then it's beyond me, I'm sure Rob or someone else equally clever will be able to help

Re: New MGF

When lowering the roof did you move one of the roof supports as this often stops the roof from folding flat

Re: Door hinge pins

If you do go the replacement route then get a decent set of hinges from a scrappy too- the pins are harder than the hinges and it may well be the case that the holes on the hinges that hold the pins have elongated too- especially as the pins seat into nylon bushes that disolve away to nothing over ...
